True beauty

As a girl looks at herself in the mirror, she frown as she touches her soft tummy. "I knew I shouldn´t have had that snack." Across the world there are millions of girls weighing themselves, wishing we had the body of that girl on the magazine. Other girls diet to get to that size 2. But why does that matter? Our world today is giving the wrong message to us young girls.

Why should size make you feel beautiful? What is great about looking perfect on the outside, and feeling ugly in the inside? What is winning 'the most beautiful', when you could bewinning a position as one of God´s princesses?

Real beauty comes from the heart, because if you´re happy and thankful for who you are and how you are made, in all kinds of ways, well that real beauty shows in the outside.

Psalms 139:14 says: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful. I know that full well."

Each one of us is wonderfully and fearfully made. By God. How can we still complain because of who we are, and how we look like? God made all of us with different bodies, and he loves all of us the same way. With his never ending love.

You are unique in your one way. Don´t try to be others, be who God wants you to be.
